Best Meat and Produce Prices October 16th-23rd

There's not a whole lot to get excited about this week, sadly.  Save A Lot and Walmart are your best bets for the lowest prices on produce.  A few good meat deals but make sure you look at the days they are on sale.  Friday only Spires has ground beef for $2.69 per pound and Save A Lot has a 3 day weekend sale going on thru Sunday.

Another frugal option is the reduced table at local produce stands.  I know that at Norman's Market they cull the fruit and vegetables that they need to sell quickly and make $1 grab bags.  This week I got cucumbers for $.25 each (4 in a bag) and tomatoes for $.20 each (5 in a bag).  Best times are around 9-10 am and again in the early afternoons.
